95 disco tdi 2.5 - clutch or slave cyclinder?

Hi i was driving along today and my clutch stuck in ,it's given no signs of clutch going i.e stiff gears, revs slipping or smelly clutch fluid. there seems to be no spring back on the clutch , does this sound like a clutch or slave cycinder issue ? , thank you

it sounds like a hydraulic issue to me. Probably the slave but worth just trying to bleed it up first with fresh fluid, mine did the same last week and after buying all the bits ready to do the job on a saturday when i actually did the job all i needed to do was give it a clean out and fresh fluid and bleed it through.

Of course there are the horror stories of the fork wearing through to come............................

i pray it is only the fluid .. only just got the thing, had a massive weld job done on it along with other things to get through mot, it's single handedly broken the bank
