90 Power Steering box

Hi

Anyone know where to get a replacment/exchange steering box for a 96 L/R 90 tdi ? The only ones I can find are hugely expensive.

Any chance that there could be an element of usefulness rather than just sarcy comments ?

I got a disco 200tdi 4-bolt box thrown in free when i bought an engine last month. Now i have the original 90 4-bolt and the new disco one. Don't know what to do with both of 'em.

I guess I had a figure £200 quid in my head but being quoted £345 and up

Have you tried Paddocks or LRSeries?? last time I looked a disco box was £87+Vat..
