Having owned A Land Rover product for many years (all Range Rovers until this Ninety) never have I had such a horrible, messy, smelly, frustrating and annoying job as to swap out the old tank for a new one.
Forget RAVE and other sources that says undo the bolts and bracket then rotate and slide out.....
After fecking about with a tank that obviously won't come out that way, there is just not enough room......
So if you are doing this job, save yourself the bother and unbolt the door sill as it gives a load more wiggle room.
Never want to do it again, 27 year old bolts rusted in place that all needed a good dose of swearing to remove be it with a spanner or a nut splitter!
