evening all, I’ve had a leak on my front diff to prop flange for a while, need to get it done. Read lots of different things about spacers, crushable washers etc there seems to be different variants of the same thing. STC4858 seems to be most commonly available, so would replacing the whole flange like this do the job?
Cheers

theres no crushable spacer, when you remove flange if its short as in pic below it will hace a spacer between it and the bearing

if its long as in pic below it wont need the spacer as its longer because spacer is now part of the flange

if you swap flanges you either need to remove the spacer or add one,kit stc4858 is a long flange so any spacer would need removing if previous flange was short

Cheers James, I’ll have a look. I took a photo a few months ago it looks like the shorter one. Can I just get st4858 or does it need to stay the same?

Thanks James, sounds like the easiest option as they seem more available. Got to do the rear as well presumably they’re the same?
