Landy looks amazing and you should be proud to have achieved so much during such dreadful winter weather!!
As for the wing, dunno if chequer plate wing tops appeal or if they would go far enough back?
Suppose you could diy some. They could look good either painted with black bed liner or maybe even body coloured?

Anyway, great landy! Loving your work :)

Rich

Thanks for the ideas guys, I don't think the checker plate is for this truck maybe I can get something turned to fit and cap it,

I might go to the chandlers and see if they have anything!

so close now!
I employ a really old bench joiner and we have done many caulking jobs, both of us are very impressed by your attention to detail. Well done and look forward to seeing it all completed

To add to Mulcaster's comment - I've been around some pretty nice boats for most of my life and haven't seen it done any better.
its all about the attention to detail, makes all the difference to any job. we try and instil this into every member of staff ( hopefully gives us the edge ) but this guys work on his LR is brilliant. I have had a lot of stick on here as I am very quality driven, some see that as bragging! not the case but if a jobs worth doing - do it like Tim_am brilliant job. Attached is an image of my new office under construction by one of our Joiners - aged 78 ! we made the office on a mezzanine in an otherwise wasted area!

Just sat and ready through your project, it's really looking good and I am really impressed with your photos, really make it stand out. I was in Australia late last year and seeing the photos has really made me want to go back!

Seeing how far it has come is what is great about these project threads, I clicked back to page one and was like that is not the same car! Well done mate. Keep up the good work, absolutely stunning

This is a genuinely beautiful project - have loved every touch you've put on it! Great stuff, and agree it's a gorgeous colour esp with the canvas. Thanks for sharing your hard work with everyone!

So Ive not been on here for a while,

Over the last month or so I’ve have a lot of the mechanicals overhauled, New front Exhaust to stop a leak, New Brakes and hoses due to wear and leaks, had the Hubs rebuilt and the Swivels replaced, New Choke cable, New rear axel Check straps, replaced the points with Elec ignition and new coil, Replaced Spring shackle bushes as they were off centre and New filters and oil throughout,

And cosmetically I’ve changed the hood for a bikini tilt, added canvas door cards, wooden wheel and rubber mats,
