Hi I've a 300TMI 1996 has this on looks like it should have a belt on but doesn't what is it? What dose it do? Why if it should isn't it attached help please

As above. Belts are usually removed when the air-con is crapped out .. often due to the compressor crapping out too .. No point running something that's not working .. :)
