300tdi spider

Having problems with my tdi, so decided it was time to bypass the spider. Only problem is took dash out and no spider. any ideas. It is a 300tdi 1996 with 2 button remote, will the spider be located anywhere else.

No. If u have an auto with EDC you won't have a spider immobiliser.

Thanks for reply, not auto, non edc, got manual pump, but still no spider.

As far as aware some didn't, by this I read not for certain immobiliser in part listing.

Either been removed previously or it was an auto and converted to manual or the vehicle is not UK spec.

So if you can start the vehicle without the fob being present near the ignition - switch u don't have an immobiliser
