Greetings. I think my turbo wastegate is seized in the closed position, causing over boost and then causing the edc to cut fuel off. It manifests when I floor the throttle up hill getting to about 3200-3700 rpm. It'll hesitate for a moment then go again, and repeats that several times. It's fine if you back off the throttle though. Pretty sure that the wastegate is seized but it's in such an awkward position that I may have to take turbo off to confirm :(

Second question. Am I right in thinking that the maf only controls the egr, and that my lack of egr could mean that I can ditch the maf that's taking up room in my engine bay? :)
