Well Hello everyone again.

Right this is a strange one..

Firstly at 4am this morning the alarm on my Disco 300Tdi (1996) decided to wake all the neighbours up, I got up and went out to **** it up BUT no responce from the key fob, alarm carried on sounding.
I unlocked car with key so I could disconnect the battery and this is when I noticed ALL the dash lights were on (Ign,Coil,Batt,Oil,Alarm, Imob) but the key was not in the ignition.
I disconnected the battery and went back to bed, at 9am went out to see if I could see what was going on, reconnected battery and all HELL broke loose again, I place my key in the ignition and nothing would start, but when I took key out all lights now went off BUT 10 or so seconds later the dash relite itself and off went alarm again.
For the moment I have disconnected the sounder (For a bit of piece and quiet)
Right after disconnecting the battery a second time and reconnecting I noticed that I heard the Diesel Start Solinoid re-energise and the dash light up again, then it went OFF.
NOW I was able to disarm the alarm off the key-fob and restart the car??? BUT once I took the key out of ignition again the engine continued to run??? I then placed my key back in the ignition and turned to auxillary and off again this then killed the engine??

Has any one ever had this sort of problem or has anyone ANY idea of what is going on? or what I can change.
To me it sounds like a sticking relay of some kind.

Help greatfully appreciated due in work at 7pm tonight, lol
