yep i'd love to buy a 300 or 200 tdi, as mint aspoos, ive viewed lots of so called minters all over the country, cost me a fortune in diesil, so are there any left at all and for sale.? in in swansea wales so its a bloody trek everywhere i go, if i cant find one i'll have to buy a TD5!!!

So, you're looking for a land rover between 12 and 20 years old, but you want a minter? Hmmmm.....................

im a classic car fiend as well, so i jsut know someone out is horading one, its the same wit the classic cars, for a nice 300tdi disco i'd pay up to 4k mas i know but less to go wrong and no bloody computers either, now tahs a bonus

for that money i would sell my red one !
its about as mint as your going to get after a little bit more work.
i would list all the new parts but that would take to long. the shell unlike a lot has had EVERY rusty panel professionally removed and new ones refitted to a high standard. just got to have the injector pump over hauled and a few minor bits and pieces seen to and its ready for the road.

burn it.

I wonder..... If you paid the money for that Disco, waxoiled it and worked it hard for say 6years - how would it compare with spending 10 plus on a D3 and keeping it for the same period ? I tend to think you would get better service from the 300TDI.I've just done the boot floor/rear arches and outer sills on my 96 300 auto.It has 170,000 on it and is a reliable /very useful truck.Would I consider the same if it were a D3 - I dont think so.
I think we need to recognise how useful they can be - for not that much effort or money.

for 4k just buy a rotten one with low miles and fsh and spend some more sorting the rust.

Job done and money left over if you have done it right :)
