3 lots of 3 beeps with 30 second interlude? Any ideas please?

hi, thinking this may have been related to the 3 beep ABS warning, however, no dash light warning shows (bulb is working: lights up when running initial test mode) and just been testing the brakes and the ABS is working. Any thoughts appreciated, keeps going on and on! Worse than the Mrs! It's a 2000 td5

Ok... if this was an audience or VW it would be an indication that the key for battery was about to die.
Dunno if that helps... if you have a key for and an immo II immobiliser try changing the fob battery

If it's a low battery, I presume there is "no charge"for this advice ,,, thx for the help!

I usually get to work in the kitchen, hence knowing the answer to your problem

I don't usually charge, but my unknown - long lost uncle from Nigeria may be willing to accept a donation or two!

1. manual or auto?
2. do you have ACE? if yes can you see the warning lamp on self test as well?
3. air or coils? the same question about the warning lamp
4. did you work around the transfer box lately?
5. was a nanocom plugged in before the issue started

answer to all my questions if you want help and mention any other suspect thing if there is any

Seems odd no mention of this In the handbook, but who needs a ha book why there is Landyzone! Thanks again

Changing the fob battery did the trick, top job!
