FL2 Warning chime not working

Evening all.
Been a while since I’ve posted in here basically because my FL2 has up until recently behaved impeccably.
However, I do have a couple of niggles that need addressing and I’m hoping that someone will have the answer.
Firstly, the warning chime for seat belt and lights left on etc. no longer sounds. I have searched the internet this evening for nearly 3 hours to find where the sounder is located, but to no avail. Can someone advise please?
Secondly, my factory stereo began rebooting itself accompanied by a long tone identical to the reversing beeper sound (is it one of the same?) and was told by a car hifi specialist that it was likely that one of the many modules had broken down, and an aftermarket head unit replacement was the cheapest option. To be truthful, I didn’t mind this as it allows me to have Apple CarPlay and use my phone satnav instead of the outdated LR system. However the front and rear parking sensors have also stopped working since this. The new stereo apparently is no longer connected to the LR loom/fibre optics. When I put the car in reverse I get a flashing from the dash sensor switch, but no beeps.
Is this lack of beeps in both scenarios to do with the same faulty sounder???

Second has the factory audio system been messed with?

The belt and light reminders and all the other warnings are either generated from the Ipack, or the audio system depending on model year or spec.

On re-reading it sounds like the factory HU is no longer fitted. In which case you'll loose all functions that use the audio system to generate the sounds. So PDC, warning tones and clock on the dash will stop working, as well as the time based service indicator.

My apologies I thought I set up a signature with the vehicle details. It’s a 2011 2.2 HSE.
The warning chimes stopped before the head unit was changed, and at that point the parking sensors began failing when the original head unit was continuously rebooting.
Even now the satnav screen that remains continually reboots especially when it’s cold.

It simply needs a diagnostic read to identify the module that is faulty, then depending on which module is at fault, a second hand module with the same part number can be installed, some don't even need configuration. The BT module is the usual suspect for rebooting, which is a straightforward swap with a working module with the same part number.

Unfortunately with the integration of the infotainment system into other vehicle functions, it's not easy to replace the system, unless you're prepared to loose things like the PDC, and time based functions of the vehicle, and kiss goodbye to the sound quality of the system too.

Yes unfortunately since changing the head unit I’ve lost the subwoofer and rear speakers by the tailgate, and the disc changer, although I never used that.
I shall get a diagnostic test done as you say, thanks

That's a few steps too far for me. I couldn't be without the high quality audio the factory system gives, even if the nav is old and clunky. The loss of other functionality and reduction in value of the vehicle would steer me well away from such a drastic modification.
I use my CD all the time, it has MP3 disc compatibility, so has several hundred tracks on CD.

Not much point in getting a diagnostic done, as it'll simply be awash with codes that you can't remove, unless you install the factory system again.
