Freelander 2 (LR2) 2010 Freelander 2 Main Beam

This is my head light type. I can not get a decent main beam. It has the correct bulbs in, I have put higher power halogen bulbs in and yet I can not see much past the dipped beam distance, the light come out in a scatter pattern rather than a beam.
The lights are adjusted correctly.

Any help will be much apreciated as I am pulling what's left of my hair out over this !!

Do you have separate main beam bulbs, or just the one bulb which does double duty?

Hi, separate bulbs, H7 Main, H11 dip with the lens type lamp. It now looks like I may have resolved this. I re-seated the H7 main beam bulbs, they looked ok to begin with but after taking them out and putting them back in again the main beam is much better. They both must have been not seated properly, they are quite a faf to do.
