Right, spoke to Revotec:

- pulls 20 amps, does spike momentarily, cable will get warm but is fully insulated for this reason
- cable supplied with kit, about 2 metres in length which is enough to go directly to the fuse box. No inline fuse holder supplied with kit for this reason but as per last night, I've got one on the way.

Still worth getting some chunkier cable ?

great , :)

think it would be worth getting some 30 amp cable, so that if we need some it's to hand , 3 metres, of each , being a red and black one should be more than enough

always useful for other projects if not used on this

as you've ordered the inline fuse we can incorporate that, got the correct crimp tools, soldering iron, shrink heat sleeving and terminals , inc cable ties so can't think of anything else req :D

also thought , later on if u wanted can fit a second fuse box for accessories etc ,

I'll get some 30amp cable Gary - fan kit arrived today, inline fuse tomorrow....getting there !

happy days mate ,

good to have everything to hand to ensure it's done just so :D

fingers crossed will also be nice the weekend

@neilly was going to see if there's a spare switched live in the fuse box,

as the fan pulls just over 20 amps, will use a min of 30amp sized cable , then using a 25 amp fuse to protect the cable
