Hello, I have a 2009 LR2/Freelander that just wont start. You put the key fob in the ignition slot. Press the brake and press start and NOTHING. Moments before this problem I tried starting the car and it ran rough than stalled. I pressed the start button again and the starter would crank for like 5 seconds before giving up. So now it wont even try to crank. I even disconnected the battery for a few hours and reconnected it. And the car still doesnt want to do any thing. I confirmed that the starter is good by bypassing RY1 with a jumper wire and the starter engaged. I swapped the relay with another relay. And still the same thing. Everything lights up when you press the start button and the brake lights in the rear come on when you press the brake. I also made sure the battery was charged and even added jumper cables to another battery for sure measures. So I'm at a loss. Has anyone ran in to this
