2001 td5 fault codes

it is a copy but it works fine, even genuine machines of any make can give incorrect codes, anyway ive now used a snap on machine still getting code 0E position switch monitoring from the transmission ecu and from the engine ecu I get code 92 egr valve stuck closed which I can ignore as its been removed
 
snap-on is also generic reader... you must get a P xxxx(xx) code exacly like those of the tables i attached if you want to be sure, and you need LR dedicated tool for that, hawkeye, lynx, autologic, T4 would be the best...even nanocom might be erratic here but better than snap-on anyway

this code you've got if the car goes to limp mode must be equivalent of the first or the second code from the list but sounds different...if no apparent effect only the warnings it can be equivalent to others so i can't figure out which

though you can try your luck and replace the XYZ switch but at it's price you better make sure first
