EMP/zombie Apocalypse + ecu =fail

oh yeah, blummin' eck forgot about that. funny though, i WAS thinking about it just the other day!

was wondering if the EMP would affect the ECU if it was not powered at the time?

youd be ok with the proper earths its in the manual under appocalypse after town driving

I think unless its in a faraday cage your fooked!

I saw them test one on a normal modern car and it just killed it in 0.1 sec flat lol

seems a bit daft building this war machine if theyre going to EMP it anyway

Mine has the earths to the back of the left cylinder head too, cleaned them up and re fitted and moved the earth for the dizzy to where the engine earth strap bolts onto the coil bracket on the front panel and it all seems fine for now.

From what i know the ecu has an earth to it ( yes not the casing ) but it distributes earth feeds to all the efi sensors via some witchcraft so they don't get as much interferance
