2,5 diesel RR

Hi i need help on trying to find out why after leaving my RR for 2 days or more the diesel seems to drain back to the tank , it is hard to start but it wll in the end thanks.

Everything is old and tired. There is probably not one specific problem but a whole host of small issues that are well documented here.

Perished leak off pipes will be favorite.

I agree with eightinavee, leak off pipes. Get some silicone tube off Ebay, 3.2mm if I remember correctly and replace them. a bit fiddly but can be done with the manifold in place, I used forceps to hold the tube and push it on.

If that doesn't fix it, fit a non return valve in the clear plastic tube after the fuel filter.

Have you seen air bubbles in the plastic tube?
