2.25 petrol. Whats it worth?

I'm most probably getting a 200tdi put in my landy. Has done 20000 miles from new. It starts from tests when bought about 5 years ago and has stood at the back of a workshop since then. Painted and looks good. New fan belt too.

I'm not selling yet. But i wanted a idea how much the engine would go for?

I beg to differ I paid 49 quid for my 2 .25

By the time you've paid the ebay fees and the paypal fees you might as well have wheeled it round to the scrappers.

Mine fetched nearly 150 quid early on in the spring of this year, and it was only a 3 bearing, the only thing going for it was that it had a electronic dizzy and all the ancills.
Your whereabouts and the way you word eblag ads makes a big diffo.

Not sure what mine is. Not good @ mechanics me, learning though .

I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a turner head on it. My dad who is a mechanic told 1 time it was a standard A-series engine.

It's from a 1971 landy. If that helps what type it is.

Nope way off its not an A series, that went in the mini, allagro, austin 1300 and a few others not the landy.

Just checked with him. He said it was a A-series exhaust manifold. not a A series engine

ha, umm... define work...!

I am at work (cus i have to be) and thus am sat at a computer, but, they don't exactly feel right yet.
