Per the title, my '97 Rioja Red 110 csw is for sale. Change in circumstances - new child and new job - mean its no longer being used. It has done 108000 miles. Passed its MOT yesterday.

I'm in the Bath area. Looking for £7250 or reasonable offer.

I've had it a few years. In that time, it's had:

- new rear crossmember
- 4 new general grabber at2 tyres on steel rims
- sliding windows refurbed with new felts
- new clutch master cylinder
- new brake servo
- new track rod ends
- a few gaskets replaced and misc leaks fixed
- new matching lock barrels on all doors
- new exhaust silencer
- servicing, routine maintenance and other minor fettling.

A few things to highlight:
- doesn't have any sideways facing seats (it's a 6 seater, no cubby box)
- some rust on rear passenger door sills
- I've put down roof flashing as a sound deadener beneath the carpets. It does work but happy to remove and clean up if buyer doesn't want it.

I can provide photos.

Thanks?! As I said, open to offers on it but, having looked around, think its a reasonable asking price for its condition etc.

Here are a few pics.

Any chance of a few photos of the interior and underneath, chassis etc. I am interested but live in North Wales so have a fair way to travel. Were there any advisories on the MOT?

Cheers

Hi Simon

Absolutely, but I'm away in London for a few days and probably won't be back in the light to take some photos.

Don't recall the garage mentioning anything re advisories but I'll get on to the photos at the weekend and let you know exactly what came out the MOT.

Previous MOTs have highlighted a small chip on the windscreen which has been there since I got it. It's about 10cm below drivers eye line but not intrusive, smaller than a 5p and has been treated.

Will get back to you soon.

Cheers

Hi Simon

Sorry for the delay - there's been an irritating problem I've been trying to fix (see my other post) re the fuel gauge. I'll get it sorted before selling.

Anyway, I took a few more photos today. Also checked the MOT certificate - no advisories.

In the spirit of openness, it failed an MOT about 6 weeks ago on the grounds of the crossmember and turret being rusty. I knew these needed replacing and the garage suggested doing the MOT first to flush out any other work needed - it predictably failed and they then decided they weren't to doing the crossmember, meaning I couldn't get a re-test within the two weeks. It's since been to another garage who remedied each of the points on the first MOT and did another test - which it passed with no advisories.
