1992 disco key fob ???

can anyone tell me if a j reg 1992 disco 200tdi had a remote key fob for opening the doors.

Yes it should have a single button and it operates the Immobiliser and Alarm

the immobiliser is a seperate fob the size of a AA battery
there is a fuse missing from the alarm when i put the fuse in the alarm goes off ok but no fob to switch it off hense i take the fuse out again LOL can the single button remotes be programed by myself or is it a land rover dealer job

Can't help on that then all the early disco fobs i;ve seen have been single button jobbies pearshaped.

The single button fobs were fitted standard starting 1993, VIN ...KA034314.
Between 1989 and 1992 there was a "no button" fob fitted as optional equipment.

yes my 1992 k reg 200 tdi has remote key fob. buy a cheap central locking kit off ebay and fit to ur existing one youll then have remote centrallocking. i did and it works on mine. thanks
