I have purchased a 2" Lift kit with shocks springs new turret rings and extended brake lines.
I also have a full poly bush kit to fit at the same time,
From what i have been reading it is quite likely that this lift is gonna wreck my prop uj's and balls up my steering geometry.
I read that fitting caster corrected bushes or trailing arms is a bodge to sort steering geometry and that caster corrected swivels is the way forward.
And to sort prop issues wide angle or double cardan props.
Am i right would i need to change both props to uprated items or can these flange spacers be used to reduce prop uj strains.
And what is a diffinative answer for geomoetry setting as everyone seems to argue over corrected/ cranked arms and bushes etc.
The landy has been off the road for over a year and when recommissioning i want to get it right first time.
Was also going to fit an uprated steering damper at the same time.
please unconfuse me thanks

you shouldnt need to alter anything ,but mabe front prop if noisy ,corrective caster angled parts will make diff angle worse 2 inch lift shouldnt loose self centering on steering ,caster angle is the angle that a line running through top pin and bottom pin wouldnt be vertical but lean back like motorcycle forks this makes wheels return to center after turning ,corrective swivel housings woulb be better than other ways as they dont effect diff angle ,try it first ,steering is often made more worse by fitting wide wheel with wrong offset where the line of pivot does run through top abd bottom swivel pin to center of tyre

so basically just give it a go and see what happens.
just out of interest whats the verdict on the propshaft spacers are they a good or bad idea?
So if i were to fit larger wheels and tyres what size and wheel offset would you recommend to reduce steering worries?

Tyre sizes and offsets wont make a difference to be honest but on a 2 inch lift you can fit up to 33x12.50 r15 on a 90 i think or 285/75r16

You can fit 33x12.5 r15s without a lift, mine only rubbed when the back axle was articulated as far as possible with +2 rear shocks and very worn/soft standard springs
