Hi all
My Disco4 HSE LUX (14 plate) has been showing this message on the dash speedo every time I get in it for the last 4/5 months. There is nothing wrong with the battery (had it checked twice now) and it starts first time (even after 2 week holiday of being stood on drive).
Any thoughts? I have had problems with 2 of the keyless entry sensors on the doors (now replaced) and the auto stop/start does not work. I am told though that the auto stop/start will not function if there is a problem (or perceived problem) with the battery.
Thanks in advance

Checked how? did you measure the voltage on it when this message appears? is it above 12.4V? it starts even with 11.5V but that doesnt mean the battery is OK ... if it's still the original one it means it has 4 years and if the vehicle was driven for short journeys and left unstarted for more days too often without charging the battery with a smart charger it's possible that the battery is on it's way out... put a smart charger on it over night, measure the voltage after that and if it's above 12.4V and you still get that message then it's time to worry cos might be a problem with the BMS, see this http://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com/document/3D/2017/T20737/22489_en_GBR/proc/G1798293

Thanks Sierrafery - last checked at garage when had full service 3 weeks ago. Battery charge was apparently ok but I didn’t ask about voltage output.

Title made me smile. On mine it'd be, your battery is low, start that thing that charges the battery with your low battery. . Click.. :(:oops:

4 yrs is good for d3/4 battery
Halfords do Yuasa 019 batteries at good prices if you have access to a trade card.

Some of the later cars have AGM batteries and the car has to be told what type is fitted.
