I'm getting tired with my collection of tat flying from the passenger seat when on the odd occasion I use the brakes and I don't have any midget friends, so I figure it's time to replace the centre seat with a cubby box. The basic Exmoor Trim ones look just the job. I'll store aware the centre seat somewhere safe in case it's ever needed again.

Is it a straight forward job for a numpty like me to swap the two around? Anything I need to watch out for?

Yep piece of **** to fit, but do you're self a favour. Unless you've got more money than sense steer well clear of exmoor trim They're a rite set of rip off bastids. Look on Ebay or other 4x4 suppliers (Not Devon4x4 cos they're cuunts anorl) and get one for a lot less than Exmoor are charging.

famous four, paddok or scorpion racing i think had reasonable price i seem to remember

Scrap Iron racing are no longer trading. At a meeting of their creditors. The owner claimed that an interested party was prepared to inject cash into the business. However like everything involving Scrapiron This was a load of ****e. and the company have been taking peoples money for several weeks now but haven't sent any goods out in return The Police and Trading Standards are investigating, the company and there is every likelyhood that he will be charged with fraud and false accounting.

And so fooking overpriced they make Scrapiron & D$x$ look cheap. Another company that daren't put their prices up in case someone has a stroke and sues the fookers.

Really?? i'd not looked into them that deep, seen their gear at a few shows and thought they looked quite good..............guess thats me in detention for not doing my homework then!!!!

I've got their pricelist somewhere you have to email em to get one. I think the cubby boxes start at about £90 and go up to about £150 just off the top of my head.

I got one and did pay for it :) very well made, top quality stuff. also got their internal rear window grilles. not looked at Exmoor's cubby boxes but their other stuff is also of excellent quality. Go for a metal box over a wooden one, get one that locks to. When you fit it, try to get some long strengthening plates that fit under the centre panel. stops anyone trying to pry the cubby box loose which will happen if just bolted down. The mss ones comes with these bits.

with regards to scorpion. Ros is still working for them out of the Cheshunt shop. I know because i was there in January and bought a pair of driving lights off them. Not read the threads pikey posted, but they were there in January and Ros was running the show. The new premises are a tiny shop in the middle of a bunch of terrace houses. a fair downside from what they used to have, by all accounts.

That's folded as well by all accounts. they did the we'll fold the company and get 2 ficitious people to buy it off the administrators. Then we'll clear all our debts, and still own the company scam. The ORRP thread was someone who bought summat a couple of weeks ago but hadn't received the parts and couldn't get them to answer the phone or reply to his Emails. So he's reported them to the consumer council, I also had an Email from someone else claiming that the Police & Trading standards were investigating them. The shop was the retail outlet but they sill had a warehouse with all the old stock. somewhere else.
