Just to let you know....
Blackbox Solutions have sent me a mail stating that they are offering all their products and modules, both the single & multi vehicle applications at a discount of 25% until the end of the year.
Buy the missus one instead of the usual spanners, welding mask, sexy undies etc.!!!:cool::cool:

Hi Irish

Looking online it says the 25% is on software up to 20th December.

Just for clarity

Adam

Just read the mail again and it's 25% off all software and hardware, including all Faultmate models including multi vehicle ordered online before midnight on New Years Eve.
Send me a PM with your email and I'll copy the mail to you-and no, you don't need to be an existing customer/user.

I wonder if my wife would like one to go with the set of overalls I bought her for her birthday ?

Lucky girl

im looking into buying one of these, but i don,t know which would be the best one,the one that has full capability or the one that can read and reset the fault codes, just gutted my wife bought me the full eas kicker package 3 months ago,and it has only been used once, which is a waste of £260,which i don,t think i can sell because of the free software you can get for using on a laptop:confused:

Depends whether you want it just for your own car (Single vehicle) or whether you want to get a few bob back by using it on other cars of the same model (Multi vehicle). The name of the system is Faultmate and you can add extra software to cover different systems and software as you want them for other models, e.g. Disco., New Range Rover, Freelander etc. at a later date.
Addmitedly, there is free software available for suspension problems but I feel you will still get a fair price for the Kicker.
Another feature of owning a Rovacom/Faultmate is that there is access to a brilliant support site from other "Blackbox" operators F.O.C.

im going to invest in one,but i think i,ll see if i can get rid of the kicker and put what i can get for it towards the faultmate,i think i,ll get the basic kit then build up at a later date;)

That's the advantage of the Faultmate. Remember though, if you buy the Single Vehicle unit, it will only work on that vehicle as it's tied to the VIN, so if you change the car, it can't be used with another so you would have to let it go with the car. You cannot change it to Multi Vehicle afterwards.

Forgot to add that I started off with the BECM and HEVAC modules and added all other modules over a period of time. I now have all modules for the P38 plus some for the new RR and Disco. Going to get some Freelander next.

i think the first thing i need to do is to try and sell the kicker and see what price i can get from it,then i can go from there;)
