If you sell the Faultmate we would ask you to complete the attached
transfer of Ownership form so that the new owner can then register the
unit and obtain any software and other updates via the forums.
As to transfer costs, this depends on which vehicle they purchase the
MSV-2 to use on. As you currently have it licensed for a Discovery 3, if
they were to use it on any CAN BUS model not including the 2010 ones then
the fee would be 50 Euro to issue new codes to allow the server to connect
to their VIN number.
If they had a 2010 on model then they would receive a 50% discount on the
original cost of the D3 software pack (pre VAT price) against the cost of
the new software pack.
This kit has only been used occasionally and is for sale due to no longer having a Discovery.
