If you're really tight like I am...
Just to say that if anyone is thinking of getting a faultmate from Blackbox in Cyprus you can save about £25 plus vat by not ordering the complete software/hardware kit, but ordering your hardware first and then the software separately. It's slightly cheaper that way as you can specify a cheaper (slower) shipping option for the hardware on it's own that isn't an option on the kits (not sure why?). This was explained to me by the helpful person at Blackbox when I said I wasn't bothered about the faster shipping at £51.
Despite this my Monday order resulted in me getting my 'birthday present' the Friday after. yay
I also saved a few more quid by choosing the 'pay by bank' option as (I think) my online banking lets me make payments using sortcode and acc no., without a charge. This saved me the '3% charge for all card payments' (including debit cards - what?!)
There's no saving by buying the bundled kit, the hardware and software separately cost exactly the same (surprise). After the VAT the above two order options saved me just over £50 in total.
Now I am being very good and ensuring i don't screw anything up before I even get my modules unlocked - yes, I read the rangiegal post in full!!!
