The whole rear pipe..let's see someone make that and thread it through unmolested..

My P38 doesn't beep. Never bothered me until today when I left the lights on. Luckily caught it before the battery was flattened. I know the speaker can be physically disconnected, any other reason it might not be working?

If you intend to do the pipe over the rear axle, don't be fooled into thinking you can make it a perfect pattern and then thread it through, the route it has to take will mean it has to be pulled and twisted to get it from one side to the other. Therefore I would make it up up-close enough and then be prepared that it won't come out the other end exactly as it should be ( if that makes sense). Once it's through from one side to the other you then have to get your hands in above the chassis and make sure the pipe isn't kinked and that it is clipped in to the original brackets (you may break one or two taking the old one out) the mistake not to make, is to have brake pipe loose or rubbing against any metal work. That's where the MOT failures will come and you will cause the pipe to scrape and damage. It can all be done, it just takes time and be prepared to make mistakes on the way.
Remember these pipes were laid in above the chassis before the bodies were dropped on in the factory. So some bright spark at Land Rover never thought they would have to replace them in the future...cheers guys.

Yes, Brian popped up today and everything became apparent. I am thinking maybe a new thread might be an idea so other people can find it easily.

Did my husbandly duties this morning. Mrs Bagshot at work, so did the shopping run in Betsy. Strange day.. ! EAS sorted and working correctly, stereo sorted, working correctly and blowing the back windows out. Treated her to a jetwash and wax (car, not Mrs Bagshot) no lights, no bleeps or strange noises and to top it all chased (and beat) an Ejoke down the dual carriageway at an obscene rate. A good day for the diary and for a few hours I was king of the world. Things like that make all the heartache and spannering worthwhile.. Keep the faith boys..!!!!

Trying to make Bix do his 10k run today. Might have to threaten the car to make it happen. He did in fact reverse into mine yesterday but so slowly it just dinged my numberplate - any faster and he'd have never been seen again...

You should buy him parking sensors or old man glasses.
He won’t run away.
Not with your size hands ;)
In my defence, the neighbour is a bellend who left me a foot to squeeze into my spot when there is enough to get another of her toy cars between hers and her husbands car.

I do need parking sensors though, ever since I got a concussion in Latvia my depth perception has been virtually nonexistent.
