I wonder if that is in Sandhills just outside Liverpool center?? Under the old rail tracks...
I used to work out that way in O'Connell tyres. The wagon wheels were nearly as big as me.

Looking at other picks looks like a train station with stations, there's a load of abandoned cars there, and its disused, and was a garage after

Compared to some of the cretins in the UK the French are good.:p I can walk the city here with no fear of being mugged or stabbed which is more than I could do where I lived in the UK.

I never had that fear, even when I lived in Hounslow or Salford. Neither of which have stellar reputations.

Lived in both of those places, never had a bother. Got a kicking in Camden one night though.

    Steering wheel finished..

5 coats of Rustins varnish applied to the wood "fnarr" ;)

This was lightly sanded to remove any rises, and allow the varnish to adhere..

After the varnish - I'd add also the leather has had a leather sealant added to it, which is a necessity with dyed leather!

A before just to remind myself what it looked like.... ;)

    Happy with it,,

    Oh yes.. :)

While I was under mine I noticed the boots on the tie-rod have gone. It isn't even that old. Not impressed. It was Lemforder too.

    Thanks very much ;)
The biggest and to be honest only reason for buying her was the colour, my eyes seemed to gloss over the "niggles" being it is my favourite shade of blue, coupled with the fact that only a handful of P38's were painted Monte Carlo Blue Micatallic ;)

    She's special ;)

Lots of people wonder why i polish the living daylights out of it ;)

I'm probably a bit nutty, but the blue once scrubbed up is worth the effort IMO ;) :)

Been on the blower to Rimmer Bros becoz they made a mistake on the order..

    all rectified..

However the old one has to come off..

The Drag link came off the box without too much fuss...

    The 'tother side however....

Managed to mangalise a pair of cheap mole grips, they exploded when a good amount of pressure was put on 'em, so they went for a flying lesson!

Got my big blue spanner out..

And it come off with no fuss, no idea why i don't cut off all the bolts i come across..
    so much easier.
