Injector Timing Marks

In Rave it says there are marks on the camshaft, which line up with the cam carrier. This lets you accurately set full lift on each injector when doing the bump adjustment. This is a new one on me, as I've never seen them.

Has anyone seen these marks and possibly explain where to look.

Never seen them myself. I turn the relevant lobe until its at full lift then adjust the injector rockers while cold. Turn the adjuster until it bottoms out then back off 1 complete turn before locking.

I found a post on another site, which said the marks are just behind the front sprocket. Apparently there is 1 - 5 marked on the cam between the sprocket and the hole for pinning the timing. I'll investigate, when I'm trying to find my dodgey injector and report back. I agree though, I've never seen them either.

Found the marks, which are behind the front sprocket. The highest point on each injector lobe is indicated by a line and and a reference number. The line lines up with the edge of the cam carrier. I've attached a picture, but it was tricky because of reflection. I hope you can make it out, its injector lobe 3 at full lift.

something is definitely wrong here. At max cam lift, the fuel is Injected. So how come this is when the injector plunger is at its relaxed position ba ked off a full 360°? Also the same problem of the adjustor nut chewing away the threads is all over all forums. Have you seen the oil hole on the adjusting screws? When it is outside the rocker housing body, with only a thread for the adjustor nut to hold it. That's why it chews the thread. COULD EVERYONE BE WRONG? I think it's the opposite. The adjustment should be done when cam lobe is at lowest point. This means that at full lobe lift, injector plunger is all the way in for the fuel injection to occur. Question, if lobe should be on full lift when adjusting, does the plunger ever get pushed in at all? How?

?? I’m thinking of doing mine.. does these marks really indicate full lift ? If so can someone explain ?

I need a rave manual where do I purchase one from ?
