P38A Help please!! Has anybody got a Nanocom or syncmate?

Looks like I've just missed out on the last group buy

Been googling how to enter EKA using nanocom but I can't find any information on it, I'd just like a visual aid to see how easy/hard it is. While I've been searching this there seems to be a lot of confusion around the BeCM being in a locked/alarmed state and not being able to enter the EKA code while being in this state. Is this correct?
