Headlights from RHD to LHD - change?

Now that I've permanently exported my 2003 D2 I'm thinking what to do with headlights. I have two sets, LHD and RHD...just wanted to check whether the RHD ones can't be set to LHD to keep as a spare set...I suspect they can't, but wanted to check before putting them on ebay.

I did some research into this and it appears that the Facelift headlights are not adjustable unless you have HID dipped beam units.

It's due to the fact that it is not possible to rotate (approx 30°) the dipped beam reflector as there is a flat across the top.

Cheers Dave, I thought so but wasn't sure...otherwise I guess the previous owner wouldn't have bought the second set of lights. Listed them on ebay.

I've already ordered the LHD headlights for my new one. They'll get fitted in UK before I board the boat.

Anyone fancy a pair of RHD pre-facelift headlights ?
