Cant praise these guys enough. If you are shopping around its well worth sending Jordan a message. I saved £600 on insuring my discovery as they rolled my 25th birthday date back a month and gave me the discount early. Means i can use the disco for a week round scotland just before my birthday. And on top of that they gave the best price by £100 compared to other companies following my birthday.

thanks again!

Not a direct line, takes you to switchboard. But well happy with result, well modded disco 300tdi, fully comp, 5000 miles limit, £250. Bargain

Good stuff Dazza.

It's a dedicated line which means it displays on our phones as 'LandyZone' so you're certain to get the club discount - It'll also go to our 4x4 department :)

Thanks

Jordan

jordan, i know the company will want to control the 'brand' but if you are going for the personal touch... i wonder if changing the username to your name rather than a faceless org would help :)

pretend it was marketings idea and they mightn't complain

Thanks for that Trax - It's a good idea & one I'm already considering actually.. Great minds think alike..? :D

Just had a good result from AF myself. Standard insurance for my Disco 300tdi but with the option to do non performance enhancing mods as and when I like, £255 following Jordans' input. I'm well happy also :D

Thanks for the positive feedback - Only too happy to help. :)

Methinks I'll be giving these guys a ring tomorrow, I'm picking up my D2 from the dealers on Saturday and have been astonished at the variation in quotes for it from various insurers.

Please feel free to PM me your details & I can arrange a call back from our 4x4 quotes team for you.

Cheers

My insurance is up for renewal on the 18th. Unless I cancel it will automatically renew with them. At the moment they are quoting £355 versus £280 I can get elsewhere but I'm still waiting for a question to be answered by nfu's underwriters before I make my decision on who to go with. I get an email from flux today telling me that they have tried to take the renewal money from my account and it has bounced. There was nothing in the email stating that payment would be taken 3 days before the renewal was due and as a result I now have a bank charge to pay. You really are making friends here fast aren't you flux.:mad::mad:

Hi Ratty,

Would you mind sending me a PM with your details? Sounds odd I must say, I'm keen to get it looked into.

Thanks

I've just renewed my insurance for my P38 2.5dse 1996, fully comp, 100 excess inc europe cover for the sum of 245.76. I am 47 and this was by far the best price I had. Done through autonet and the insurer is Zurich. Also with a named driver.

I have just taken out my insurance policy with Flux, great price on my Discovery 2 td5,some minor mods and 5k mileage.£245 fully comp, plus another £30 for added extras.very pleased with it.:)

They couldn't offer me any kind of decent price for either of the series, disco or volvo.......

Series ended up going with classicline who seem to have a much more inclusive policy and were a good £100 cheaper!

Volvo got shunted and the disco has been passed over, wont be bothering getting my renewal quotes from them anyway if the current prices are an indication of whats to come!

Just jumping on this bandwagon (the negative one).

I called up adrian flux when i picked the car up last week and I even used the Landyzone number, thinking im going to talk to someone who knows defender etc. Instead i get connected through their normal channels, passed around a bit and then they ask for car details. Long story short, for an 08 Defender with 65k miles, 9 years no claim bonus, i got quoted £3000!!!:eek:

Taking the ****, to put it lightly... I was genuinely mad because I got better prices from comparison websites by a significant margin. I ended up sticking with Admiral who insured my previous car for £68/month :D and that's business and social/domestic.
