Did that with daughter inlaw on her new 2013 suv but used black electricians tape as that matched the bumper color:lol::lol:
Reverse cameras are good for one thing. Spotting children who like to run behind me. I only ever used reverse cameras as an additional mirror, the eye ball and wing mirrors are my main tools, but I will quickly glance at a rear camera screen just in case there is a suicidal pedestrian.
Anyone who uses it and only it to park with should be shot. You might as well just close your eyes and park on bumps.

I cut my teeth in the driving world with a Ford Escort Van. I had no rear windows or rear view mirror. Yet I never had problems reversing and I don't just mean into a parking spot at MaccyDs either.

Nothing wrong with reversing cameras. Using technology to make a process easier is hardly rare on cars. Do the camera naysayers also say the same about power steering or assisted brakes?
