She's feeling a lot better in herself, still a pain both arms in plaster but up hospital tomorrow so will have a better idea as to how things are. Still having to help her wash, takes me ages to get a good lather going.

Can anyone enlighten me as to what disco body tie rods are?

Some people call the seat belt mounts that go from the chassis to the disco body (the threaded stud with a hole in the end for a pin) a body tie rod...apart from that i dont know what else it could be.

you looking into body lifts? ;)

the one day i really needed the 90, the git wont start. have not used it much since chrismas laning day, went to start it the other day and nothing not even a click from starter tried again and it fired up as normal. went to start it yesterday and nothing no click, guage is reading around 11volts lecky windows work as normal, have clumped the starter but still no joy, will take out the starter motor plug and give it a clean and then try and bump it. any other ideas. the Audi does not like ice covered tracks so need this sorting.

Do you get a drop in power when you try to start it (lights dim e.t.c.) or is there just nothing? Could be ign. switch or a corroded contact on the starter trigger if nothings happening, will be a siezed solonoid or starter if its pulling power still
