I had no problems with my AT(BFG copy) last year, this year i have big BFG MT on, will see how they go might have to change back to the AT for the snow

I bought the tyres new in feb and have only covered 6000ish miles so tread is still good. The posts sound encouraging so roll on the snow.

My Geolanders on my hilux were great in the snow last year. I have cooper discoverers m+s on my new Defender so hope they will be good in the snow, if not I will use the hilux. Just ordered Hancook winter tyres on smaller rims for the X5 as well so hopefully that will be less like a skateboard on ice this year.

I have Conway ats on that have same tread as BFGs and they have always been fine for me. But I do have a pair of 235 insa Saharas on steels ready to go if it gets really bad.

You do know that the BFG AT KO does have the snowflake.
And yes, I have used them for 2 very bad winters in Norway, and they were absolutely amazing.
I could drive up and down roads, where you would never even try to ****.

Gra,

Too many people about for a quick knuckle shuffle you mean?

Why bother? Why not buy a VW Polo. They are heck of alot better in snow.

Already have vehicles that are good in the snow just wanted to make the X5 a bit safer if there is a light dusting, the defender or hilux come out to play if needed but not as comfy or fast if its a long journey.

Just buy a 5 Series for that. Do you not find X BMWs a bit silly?

will be my 2nd year in disco in snow, last year was ok but only had cheapy posy tyres on.
