This is how got my Disco ES 300 Tdi 80,000 miles with FSH not much rot ( I'm trying out photobucket, like I said its my 1st time on a forum so just seeing if the photo is there .If all's well I'll put some more up of the transformation)

Springs or shocks or both?

Are you going to try the front first, see how it handles and then fit the rears in a month or so?

3" + springs with 2" + spacers , 2" + shocks with 2" lower turrets and shock droppers on rear (yep the rear is also finished now)
And I left it like that bcus I used to wheelie my bikes when I was younger but I'm too old for that now

Similar (ish) to mine - +2" springs with +2" spacers , +5" shocks with +2" turrets.

Props sorted thanks - they cost a lot more than I wanted to spend but it had to be done - double cardan heavy duty on the front and a heavy duty wide angle extended (well thats what it said in the advert) on the rear

What wheels and tyres are you planning?

I wanted to do a step by step photo series but changed my mind as I just wanted to get the job done and I was doing it on my own , so only took pics at the end of each day
Wheels and tyres a bit of a sore subject there ( I know on here you get loads of abuse asking about them on here lol) I actually bought some Mickey Thompson 35s baja claw but I'm in two minds whether to use them as I don't really want to cut the arches etc so at the moment I'm sticking with 8 spokes with 235 85 16 BF AT's on the rear and BF MT's on the front ........ I'm definately open to suggestions on how big I can go without cutting the body work though

What size tyres you got on there ? Did you have to cut the arches etc ? cheers
