Has any body ever used these.i.thought they looked like they mite be good off road in the mud etc.and there cheap

Like the look of the tread extending down the walls a bit, but might be too much tread in the centre .. Looks to me like they're trying to make them work off-road but still be reasonable on-road.

Be interesting to see if anyone's used them and what they say about 'em. I like the looks .. ;)

Dont wana end up with some **** tyres

Tough, there is NO definitive answer, it's down to you.

So, what's the budget? Is that for tyres only or wheels and tyres? Mostly off-road, mostly onroad, what sort of off-roading .... Don't answer, I don't care anymore. Read the forum, there's ****loads of info you've been given, there's ****-loads of info others have been given, you're re-hashing a ****-load of stuff every so often and asking about a 'new' tyre .. How the feck is anyone to know how a new tyre works if it's new?

So, a brief synopsis of how I see tyres ...

Many people stick to the old favourites, BFG, can't really go wrong with AT's, but expensive and the new KM2 MT doesn't seem anywhere as good as the old MT .. Insa Turbo Extremes, brilliant off-road in most conditions, mostly squirrelly and noisy on-road so a mostly off-road tyre, but they do hold up well onroad if you're not going bananas. Fedimas, awesome grip, too much sometimes, easier to break stuff, same with recips, and both are a tad softer so will wear out quicker if used onroad a lot, with reasonable road manners though noisy. Silverstones, somewhere between Insa and fedima but expensive and with mostly better road manners.

Loads of others available, you won't get the same answers as I've given from most people 'cos everyone 'feels' things differently and what I think is acceptable someone else might not, tough.

As for sizes, again, rtfm ...

265 x 75 x 16 is generally a very decent size, bigger than standard, will mostly fit in most ruts offroad, good balance of size to price.

235's very nice fro trialling and greenlaning and Pay 'n play if it's not too extreme, though sometimes they can work much better than larger tyres.

Many people advocate 7.50 16's, many go for 33, 35 or metric sized 12.5 (300 ish) on 15 or 16 10" rims

I run 31 x 10.5 x 15 BFG AT's, on 8" rims, my next tyres will be either 265 x 75 x 16 or 33 x 1050 x 15 or 16 ... in an aggressive offroad pattern which will be determined by price alone at the time I have the money. For instance, it seems some Insas are cheaper now than they were earlier this year, you can't get some Fedimas for love or money 'cos they only import a certain amount of 'em.

Again, there is NO definitive answer, so stop looking, stop asking the same question, it's getting ****ing boring, buy a set and use 'em .. then you will have a better idea of what you want from a tyre.

FFS, don't buy anything 'different' .. you're much more likely to be surprised and disappointed than if you buy 'the standards' that most people buy who do the same sort of driving you do ..
