Finally got the intercooler to sensor hose fitted. What a fiddle!

Like above, I've got a slight kink in the hose so I'll lob a few mm off it sometime. Still reckon the area of the kink is larger than the sensor tube so the effect will probably be nil anyway.

Cheers

David

Hi David 35mm to cut off if like mine , a sharp stanley blade did the trick then i used a hot soldering iron to seal the cut !

When I changed mine (due to the infamous hole from chaffing) I managed to just get a small - 6mm? - 'ignition spanner' onto it and managed to turn the the bolt head literally a sixteenth of a turn at a time, took bloody ages but it worked, eventually...

Good luck

+1 for that!

Yeah, that was a pig to get at, and I didn't make life easy for myself putting a T-Bolt on the new one!

But once it was in place and I could get an opened 10mm spanner on it, (dropped that a few times while I worked out the best angle of approach), it did take a while it but actually did up very well, and easy to check too.

Regular tightness checks are worthwhile, as Singvogel says, (I think it was!) the Silicon Hoses don't 'crush' down aswell, so it's worth a periodical check.

Green Hoses look good bud! - Thanks for the picture.

Pig of job , took ages but got there in the end , as modchop explained ,small spanner req , your expansion tank looks to full !

Not too full its just discoloured.. I did clean it out but still looks mercy from last owner (no idea what they did to it lol, but I first thought it was a HG gone :-/ )

and i got the cover off as i was replacing the long vacuum hose to the turbo and it goes in by the injectors.

Will try and tackle the pipe when im back from my trip to devon.

:(

Disappointed..... still waiting for my T-bolts for the airbox hose.

If they've not arrived by tomorrow, I shall have to give Gareth a reminder..

Big Shout of "Thanks" to Gareth at DPH...

My order HAD been sent sometime ago, but looks they disappeared into the 'Bermuda Triangle' known as the Postal Service - thanks Royal Fail!

Anyway, when Gareth received my email about them, without further ado, he put another pair in the post, and they arrived today!

Great Guy! :tea:
