A couple of drips won't hurt, probably gets that off every vehicle passing through.

My engine was off all the time I was washing. Just used the water and sponge.

Took longer to do but it came out better than the Kosovans could do it.

I did not know there was a ford near stock. A few of us are trying to arrange a day visiting fords, can you pm me the details please?

4 foot sounds ideal. Terling is around 2 foot and easy and in Wales the deepest water we passed was around 3 foot down a hole but mostly about 2 foot. I have not had the chance to use my snorkel properly yet.

Landy update.... not really much happening. Preoccupied with work stuff at the moment. Spent since 8am this morning at the tailors deciding on herringbone colours and texture

Will try and sort rest of bushes out over this weekend *maybe* then get the snorkel back on for the 100th time.

Will be up for some laning in February as I just haven't got the time at the moment

on another utterly unrelated note.....

found spares from old vauxhall omega (the elite of course )

- couple headlamps with broken brakets - BUT these happen to be HID type and best guess is they're H1 (or H7) with all the ballast pack gubbins etc.

now here's the question....

... putting these into a pair of spot lamps isn't going to be legal (but neither are roof lights really) but is there something obvious why i can't that i'm missing here ? (- test benching first obviously )

seem to recall mikeyT having HID type headlamps? - of course they'd be wired to self levelling suspension adjustors as the law requires
