Was out laning at the weekend and couldn't get difflock to engage - the light would go on once in every 6 or 7 attempts and then as soon as I started to drive it would go out again after a few seconds of clanging and banging noises front underneath. On the way home a really horrible grinding...

whenever I switch my lights on - sidelights, or dipped/full beam - the temp gauge goes up. goes up a little bit for sidelights and even more, as in into the red, when the headlights are dipped or full. I'm guessing there's a dodgy earth somewhere and have checked the chassis and gearbox earths...

Hi guys, another newbie. Had my Fender 300 tdi for a few months now and have finally sorted out all the little (and not so little...) niggles and am ready to get her muddy! Keen for a bit of laning and off-roading/pay and play somewhere near oxfordshire. :D
