All of the major stuff has been done on my TD4 with exception of the turbo 165000 and still kicking in when needed however at masses amounts of money for a new one or a few hundered quid for a recon one i am not looking forward to it going bang:eek:

Excellent job soundslike you had fun doing your service! i love tinkering with my hippo and as croc says it's much more rewarding and satisfying doing it yourself. i plan to upgrade to the DPH silicone hoses soon and fit the synergy kit i bought 2 weeks ago once i get some time off work.

Mine too were very poor but the cause on mine was a cracked tee peice,the water was dropping into the oil cap area everytime i pressed the washer stalk, bypassed this and there great now
