Orings and blend motors.... What method did you use

Did it yesterday. Got access to the screw through glove box lock hole. It worked for me the best. I found a combination of 1/4" extensions which gives square/perpendicular access to the screw. Grip to the screw head felt very solid. I worked it slowly back and forth and eventually unscrew it...

    still overheating

Thank for answer. That was a theoretical question and I sniff tested the engine. Nothing in there. But I will keep in mind that my cooling system require attention. Question to OP. Did you find thermostat that works for you?

    still overheating

Thank for answer. I have bottom radiator pipe just warm, not hot. It doesn't overheat, doesn't loose water and viscous fan is pulling lots of air through the rad even when not heat locked. As I understand, the purpous of radiator is to cool water. Hot water is entering rad via top pipe, and...

    over heating at speed

Correct me if I am wrong. Viscous fan engages gradually (that is my theory ) with the rise of the coolant temp. Also, engine ECU turns on AC fans to aid cooling. I think this WHOOOOSHING comes from AC fans as they are turned on/off ( not gradually).
