    Freelander 2

That hose goes on a spigot on the bottom of the fuel filter, then just hangs down. I think originally it would have been held by a clip on the dip stick tube, but most likely long gone by now. My previous FL2 didn't even have the hose. On my current one I've cable tied that hose to the...

What have you done to your Freelander today

What have you done to your Freelander today

Changed the ATF on my 2011 FL2. Well, half of it, but I'd previously done it a few months and 4000 miles ago. Used iCarsoft v2.0 LR to give ATF temp, but you have to tell the unit its plugged into a 2012 Evoque... Gear changes appear smoother.

Freelander 2 (LR2) FL2 Inlet manifold swap - how long?

The torx screws you refer to actually have 5 lobes, it threw me at first when I did a manifold swap. I did buy a set of bits, but the screws could be got out by using mole grips as they have quite large heads to get hold of.

What have you done to your Freelander today

Made the top of the rear mud flaps fit better using some clips which happen to be a genuine Ford part found on the bay of e. Been trying to find something suitable, like the clip that comes with the kit and without resorting to drilling the bumper to use a self tapping screw/spire nut combo...

    Freelander 2 bearing noise

You have made me think and I've just dug out my warranty document which is actually a little ambiguous as far as wheel bearings are concerned... It came from a Renault main dealer with a 6 month warranty which so far has proved its worth, but on the flip side I did pay a decent amount for said...

    Freelander 2 bearing noise

Just done the spring holding while spinning the wheel test which has confirmed my suspicion the the NSF wheel bearing is not 100% Looks like I'll be making use of the warranty once again...
