    ok guys here is a sitrep. I removed the head that was fitted and cleared all the bolt holes out with a tap and blew them out with an airline. lubricated the bolts with clean engine oil including under the head of the bolt. 20nm then 90 degrees then 90 degrees was finaly achieved much easier...

    5/8 hex snapon socket busted the rest were various makes only a brand new cp impact socket shifted them. one had to be drilled out by drilling the head off to almost the same size as the bolt shaft and tightening until it snapped :eek: then it unscrewed with fingers. new bolts used that are...

    sorry stopover. its a gems engine and its the plugs on the injectors. I think they have gone hard and brittle so squeezing them seems to be likely to break them. and trying to prise out the spring clips :violent:

    hi guys and gals feeling a bit daft, but is there an easy way to remove the injector harness plugs . it seems a stupid way to have to prise out the spring clips. or is that it. some of the plugs just push the clip forwards and pull, but the injector ones :confused:

    problem update . found the wire from the nsr sensor had been damaged and one of the twin cores had become broken. a bit of solder and shrink wrap later, cleared the fault with my nanocom and away we go. phew mot next saturday. so spot on wammers thanks.

    the abs has gone into fault mode with abs fault and traction failure on dash. just in time for the mot on jan 12th :mad:. nanocom says left hand rear sensor open circuit. does that mean a broken wire or sensor is duff. any help appreciated guys.

    new tailgate and upgraded to 2000 spec lights, re gassed the aircon, now to wash the rest of the car, looks odd with nice shiny tailgate and dusty rest of the car
