What did you do with your Range Rover today

Washed. Polished. Vac'd. Pulled a few bushes out of the ground. Drove around our field. Washed it off again. Fun times.

Nearside front wheel bearing replaced. Hardest part was getting the ABS sensor out without killing it. I now have a very peaceful rumble free P38. Also adjusted the handbrake so it's 3 clicks good. Future plans. New front discs next pad change, 4 new shockers and buy replacement front airbags. Rears are done. There's nothing wrong with the fronts but they look original so will get some "in stock" as they say. So in total even though the problems were minor I've had to spend an extra 350 quid on the car since i brought it. This doesn't include the Nanocom I brought but I would of purchased one anyway.

Had a nice run out to Englandshire and then home. Shame about the weather over the A74(M) but it was nice and sunny either side of it :)

Washes and polished ready for its new steering rack tomorrow!

Repaired the faulty passenger window switch and replaced the stereo for one of those Sonys that takes the ipod inside. Meant I could get rid of the mount off the dashboard.

It was too nice a day to go crawling underneath so the service will have to wait a week.

Hands free, optional visor mike available
memory for phone book
internal tray for ipod or similar
USB socket behind little slide on front
four way amp output

If you fancy one have a hunt around, I paid about half of the advertised price.

Damn, I just replaced my headunit. That is awesome. The internal tray is exactly what I wish mine had. I hate having a USB pen sticking out the front.

Then used it to go and laugh at - I mean help Pikey and his sickly shed. Never made it, lost all forward drive. Swore, laughed, swore some more and I don't know which worked but I got some drive and limped it home.
After three years with only a failed hose I can't really complain but it looks like Mr. Ashcroft is due a visit. I can't see any point in bodging it or fitting a used box. I might as well bite the bullet and get a complete recon box, transfer and VCU.

Ouch! Time to dig deep then.
