    I have only put water in it so far but with winter round the corner I think anti freeze will be a good idea. I cannot see any sign of a leak anywhere.     I bought my first freelander 6 months ago. But since I got it I have had to put water in the cooling system. About 1 pint per month or 1 pint per 1000 miles. It has done 64000 miles and there is no oil in water or water in the oil. I cannot see any leaks anywhere and the seal on the header tank...

    Hate to sound like a fool. but I am! Can anybody tell me how you tell the difference between a TD4 and the older type diesel engines just by looking at them?
