Hi Guys i am back! been a non rr owner for a year or so but now I am back,, Just got myself a tdv rr sport and having owned the older p38 v8 and classics I am amazed at how the tech has gone forward,,, God almighty it goes!!! now I need to ask,, I have the built in sat nav tv etc on 57 plate...

sorry I know nothing about the lettering api cf etc so does it go C,, a b c d e f etc so anything above e is ok?? or am i totally wrong lol and what does the SG mean? so my oil is ok?

I have a large 20l can of formula 1 10/40 semi synthetic API SG/CF does anyone know if this is ok for my 300tdi as the oil does not state petrol or diesel on it and have no idea what I bought it for!! thanks guys

i got it out doday and dried it out in the wind, sound foam can stay out, found lots of patches welded in my floor! thought this was a solid one but not so sure now, the drivers floor has a few small holes so don't know if that's an mot fail or not but its draining the rain!! I have no idea...

hi, my carpts are soaking wet in the front, i cant see a leak, do people remove the carpets and replace them with chequer plate or something? shame the carpet seems to go up under the centre console etc so i cant just take the floor bit out? need to do something before it turns it rotton thanks

Okay as your disco isn't an auto so you can fit the Immobiliser ecu ( spider) with a bypass lead enabling the engine to be permanently mobilised, you could also hard wire the two two circuits that the spider controls to immobilise the engine, so that will remobilise the engine, unfortunately...

still a bit confused as if i press the button to unlock it starts even though the fob is NOT on the key, so is it 100% chipped so i dont need to press buttons?

oh ok, can the transponder chip be removed and taped somewhere to save me having to carry the remote, it's just i have no arms and carry key in my shoe and the remote is too big!! hopefully i can make it so the chip is near enough the unit to start the car?
