Problem solved. it was fuse 14 in under dash fuse box, apparently if this blows it stops alternator charging as well Cheers Dazza

Having problems with my tdi, so decided it was time to bypass the spider. Only problem is took dash out and no spider. any ideas. It is a 300tdi 1996 with 2 button remote, will the spider be located anywhere else. cheers Dazza

Modified for off roading? With them wheels and tyres, you would get stuck on a wet football pitch :)

run manual discos for years so not seen this before, deffo diff lock light, yes it has abs and that goes out no probs. Dont know if this is something peculiar to autos, or some kind of fault cheers Dazza

Hi, high and low ratio work fine, just the diff lock light is on dash when in park or neutral, diff lock is not engaged, have checked on transfer box cheers Dazza

This is my first auto tdi, when in neutral or park the diff lock light is on, as soon as i go into drive or reverse, it goes out. Is this normal or do i have a problem cheers Dazza

Seen some cross drilled and grooved discs and pads on eblag, about £80, thinking of putting them on my 300tdi. Got to make braking a bit better.

Hi folks, have 2 d1's at minute, both avalon blue, but both green on log book. Is this right, or was it down to the person registering them being color blind. Need to know if i need to change v5. cheers Dazza

Hi, if you lose the aircon there will be loads of room behind the grill. Unless its an auto, then you will have a difficult job relocating the auto box cooler.

Yes, was refering to paying someone to do welding. Problem now trebled, just bought another 2 tdi's, one with solid shell and broken engine, will do transplant from mine, love doing mechanical work. The other an es auto with full mot to run round in. I MUST BE CRAZY:)

Ran cooper discoverer at3 on mine for ages, quiet good grip and brilliant in snow

This was my baby But alas she has succumbed to the tin worm, what do i do, she has a lovely engine and loads of tricked up bits, only problem is i can't weld. Do i pour money to a welder or just break her, That is the million dollar question.
