    D1 intermittent wipers don't work

Ah. Yes. Relay. I never thought of that. The older I get the more I seem to forget. I'm going to have a look this weekend. Been busy since the OP. Cheers.

    D1 intermittent wipers don't work

Everning all. I just got a 97 D1 300tdi recently (my second) and the intermittent wipers don't work. The two speeds work as does the single wipe. Any ideas? Not the end of the world but would like to get to bottom of it when I've gotten over all the other nigglies! :D All fuses good except the...

Disco 2 Making up rear brake pipes

As said on here. Practice on an off cut. Once you get the hang of it it's so easy. I re plumbed the complete set of pipes on my P38 once upon a 20 years time ago. Seemed a daunting task but once I started it was real easy.

    hevac p38 fault

Your distribution prob sounds like a blend motor. P38s known for this. The cog on the motor strips thus not turning the flaps. Search the site. Has been covered many times and the only cure is to replace it. Not difficult but time consuming. Mine's gone but luckily it is stuck on demist...

    Immobiliser

If you mean the receiver in the rear boot space by the ariel then you are looking at abart 150 squids. If you do a search on this site you'll get the part number as it has been a problem for the earlier ones that get interfered by remote garage doors and wireless doorchimes, broadband etc. Get...

How do I go about sourcing LR parts?

Island 4x4? OE and pattern parts. They seem ok. Bought a few things off them and were cheap enough.

    Freelander Faults poll

1999 2.0 doosil. Started up roughly but ran ok. Leccy sunroof packed in and wouldn't open. (told common and arm and leg to fix) Very thirsty. Rear tyres started to thrupenny bit which I was told that the rear axle (or diff?) was on it's way out. Rear boot cubby box not big enough to lock my...

    vegtable oil??

I own one and have thought about it but been afraid to. The Beemer injun is pretty robust but I'm not sure if anything else will like it. They are finnicky vehicles at the best of times. I saw a post on here once about someone used veg and added too much and had probs in starting up but once it...

    My Worst Fears?!!! Help!!

Yep. It might be worth overhauling the pump. Mine was slow rise and the rear usually went up first until I put a new kit in the pump. Ebay sells them. Worth it for peace of mind. And mine didn't show a fault either. If it's a ride height sensor it will go into fault mode. My garage charged...

    L332 TD6 Battery Drain - 2002 model

Normally when you switch the car off the BECM can take up to 20 mins to shut down. My P38 was drawing .2 of an amp over night because of the BECM kept waking up every 20 minutes or so. This was enough to flat my battery after two days. (new Bosch). This is caused by the interference in the...
